Took a trip into newbridge, and deposited my video clips and photo's of joe to maurice browne. If he does half as good a job with this, as he did with my friend's wedding dvd, I'll be thrilled. The anniversary is on the 29th, so he has two weeks to produce something lasting and memorable. He had lots of great ideas. The background music is to include wacko jacko and Guns n Roses (Pie Jesu just would'nt have been appropriate!) I don't think I can stomach the thought of going through some empty and meaningless cult ceremony (popularly known as an anniversary mass) merely because it is the accepted and standard thing to do.It would smack too much of hypocricy, and well intentioned desperation.

Joe did'nt buy into this afterlife story, so I'm gonna plant a magnolia tree in his honour. Finally saw the film Pride & Glory. We had l to see it last week, but the cinema was booked out. Need to book my hotel in donegal,before the xmas rush really begins in earnest. Judging by the crowds in the square today you'd never think there was any kind of recession, or global downturn. Finished a book called "Rock me Gently" by judith kelly in only 3 days, which is astounding for me. I loved her great prose, until I read on the net the other day that Bloomsbury are delaying the paperbacks, due to the amount of blatant plagiarism in the book.I don't know why she had to resort to such tactics, when she has a great story anyway, and I would have preferred her to elaborate on whatever happened to ruth norton, or did she ever get together with rick. You don't have to have a spellbinding command of the english language, to be able to convey your story!
